MESMERIZED

A knock at the door and to my surprise
The most beautiful girl left me mesmerized

When I first saw her I got this overwhelming feeling
So pretty I could cuss but that would’ve been misleading

From that moment that I saw her beautiful face
I thought I heard a choir singing Amazing Grace

These eyes are more beautiful than you could ever imagine
Her eyes are so piercing it’s like I can almost feel them

If you could have only seen her lips
Like a fine pair of red licorice whips

I had no idea that God made girls like that
If I were an old man I would’ve had a heart attack

Whatever I can do to just relive that feeling
An experience so surreal its like I was dreaming

I have to find a way so I can see her again
I gotta talk to her I just don’t know when

Just when I think I’ve seen them all
Then I see her and of course I fall

Whether she’s the one I’ve been searching for
I’d finally be happy if I never met any more

I wish there was something… something I could do
It doesn’t matter, anything will do

They say things can happen at first sight
Well I sure felt something on that night

I’ve got to end up where I know she’ll be
Just so I can ask her if she’ll go out with me

You always remember when you get mesmerized
Now I can kind of understand why nerds fantasize

I don’t know how I got so hypnotized
I guess it’s her little trick to get me mesmerized

This could turn out to really be something
Or once again it could just be nothing
